Shopify metrics you can track
- Total revenue: Total store sales for the day from Shopify.
- Orders: Order count from Shopify.
- Average order value: Average order value from Shopify revenue and orders.

- Subscription AOV: Subscription revenue ÷ subscription orders.
- New customers
- Returning customers
- Total customers: Unique customers who ordered; can be calculated from new + returning.
- New customer revenue
- Returning customer revenue
- Average LTV: Average Shopify lifetime spend for customers who ordered that day.
- Repeat customer rate: Returning customers ÷ total customers.
How the Shopify connection works
- 1. Paste your key. You add your Shopify API key once in Connections. We never type it for you.
- 2. It is encrypted. Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never shown back to you or shared.
- 3. It shows up in your briefing. Pick the Shopify metrics you want and they appear in tomorrow's email or Slack message.
Keys are stored encrypted, never returned to the browser.
